Hanscom Park in Omaha, Nebraska

Hanscom Park is an older well established and well taken care of Omaha Park. Trails and trees abound here, but make sure you go to the bathroom before you head for this park. Enough said about that...

Not too many years ago there was a working fountain in the lagoon, but we haven't seen that in action for quite a while. Guess a fountain isn't really needed, but it was rather nice. Even without the fountain it is nice to find a comfortable spot to relax and admire the lagoon.

Right across the street from this park is the President Ford Birthplace site.

It is definitely worth seeing, and bring a camera if it is the right time of year to take pictures of flowers.
